Abandoned nursing home- Near Wickford, RI. (now with pics!)

There's an abandoned building on Ten Rod Road, that I've been told used to be a nursing home.
For reference, it's near Fillipou's Pizza and that "King's Food Mart" convenience store.
I'm not sure how interesting it would be inside, it's got one of those temporary "wood 'n wire" fences around it, so it may have been cleaned out already. But it seems to be of a pretty good size... there's a lot of additions onto the back.  It's worth a try, no?

I originally was interested in this place for the roof- but the problem with that, and with going in, is that it's on a fairly busy road, and you'd most likely be seen.  (there isn't much vegetation in the back, either.)

So I dunno. It's out there, I guess, if you've got nothing to do some afternoon.

I saw this building the other day,  It looks as though its been abandoned for a couple of years and would be pretty easy to get into, but its rather small.  There is a church next door that looks as though they use the parking lot and maintain part of the grounds.  there are some other abandoned houses up the road from there as well

This winter a few friends and I started going in, we've gone in about eight or so times now, only remembered a camera once.
Haven't been since February or March because I've got a b/e warning from hanging around the empty houses in that empty land the state bought near the Wickford Hess.

Anyway, here's a few shots of the inside, looks like they started to rehab but ran out of money.

The manager's apartment upstairs still has coffee cups in the sink, bills on the table, and patient records in the closet.
There's a big 'ol barn in the back but last time I went, my friend didn't want to go in and we had to walk to walmart for a ride.
It's a bit odd... all the medical networking sites (even current ones) have contact numbers and list it as still up and running. Google Lafayette Nursing and go look. Prolly some creepy ghost shit like in the movies if you call them.
