A lot of us want to see IB return to what it was in 2006, with photo galleries, UE articles, resources, etc.  If you were here then you know this place is just a shadow of its former self.

The question is, what are you willing to do to see it come back?  I'm definitely willing to donate the time and help with fundraising, and that's if I can't afford to financially pitch in.  I don't know what it took to have this site the way it was on the money end and those in charge really have never disclosed it.

Sometimes it's hard with work and all that, we all have lives outside the site, but a little can go a long way. Smiley

I joined pretty recently and would definitely like to see what it looked like before. We should somehow get the word out to old members who are not here anymore and in the process possibly get some new members in here. Its been slow lately.

I was not here but I would love to see this site as it once was. Very few people seem to post, but there seems to be someone new joining every couple of days. Has everyone gone over to facebook or have we explored all there is to be explored in little Rhody...?

Thanks! Any ideas on how to breathe life back into this site? I think it on "life-support" now but I think with some help it could become vibrant~ a forum to exchange locations and ideas on urban exploration.

I have a full backup of my photos and a partial backup of the stories I wrote for the site--whatever I have backed up was also published at the time in one of our local newspapers so there's a few things I'm sure I lost but it was so long ago now I don't really remember.   huh  I'm dumping everything I have back into my own site. lol

IB seemed to grow more as we all put more into it, and of course that could all come back.  Someone correct me if I'm wrong but the photo galleries seemed to bring in a lot of people who stuck around for a bit, and it was fun too because you could see all these places to add to your to do list or see how many more photos Carbon got of Norwich State. LOL  I know that's where I got a tonnnnnnnn of new places from.  And then people would go out and explore, and come back and share.

Dakiel & Skully: What would it take to bring the site back up with photos and such? If its money of a few of us would be willing to buy clothes and such (tee-shirts, hoodies, mugs etc) with IB's logo. If its time, i'm sure they are enough of us out there willing to work on the site.

I know that I'm the new guy and never experienced the old site but would be willing to help.

There's a surprising amount of highschoolers and college kids into UE, maybe the younger ones of us should try recruiting?
I go to NKHS and I know at least three or four people into this kind of thing that just need a push in the right direction.
