Lincoln Park
« on: May 17, 2009, 05:41:22 PM »
Me and Omnipotence went today, it was very much worth the trip. A standing roller coaster and some smaller buildings. A lot of the things have been burned down.

agreed.  When we went i was coming around the corner of one of the buildings.  I come around and i suddenly freeze at what i see, i have one of those moments were you just freeze and you go what the fuck.  I see a man in full camo with a machine gun and he hasnt seen me as this point so i jump back.  My hearts racing thinking oh shit the military is back here then i peak around again and notice the orenge tip and suddnely feel stupid cause its an airsoft player so i waved to him and he waved back then people began shooting at him. me and jiggy were dodging warfare at this fucking place haha

I dont know if anyone knows this or not but the roller coaster at lincoln park collapsed.  Its a shame to see it like this, even though i have never been there before. Rocky Point was where my family used to go.  Some has posted quite a few pictures that can be found here  http://community.webshots.com/album/572091547zxspot

There are a few sections of the comet that have fallen in on itself over the years, but keep in mind, the comet is pretty fucking big.

As far as people turning the land into condo's, they've been saying that for years, but nothings ever come of it. A few years back, some company did come out and remove some booths and shit, but that was about it.

Lincoln Park isn't going anywhere.
