Anyone seen or gone to the underwater towns in belchertown MA under the quabbin

I've heard of the underwater town but I doubt there are any buildings left.

We had a similar situation here in West Thompson CT for the West Thompson dam and I know the town took all the buildings that were to be flooded down.

There was a story on CNN recently about an underwater town somewhere in the South and one of the buildings was actually still standing, but it was the only building that hadn't been demolished first.

My farther useto tell me stories of the old town of scituate.  he remembered when he was yourn you and the resawar was low you could see chiminies and such sticking out of the water I however have never been able to find info on this

the towns under the quabbin were demolished except one building which is on an island. the town of dana has some cellar holes

here's a pic that shows the land was scraped and houses removed. every reservoir has an urban myth about buildings poking out when the water is low, usually a church steeple.

In Potosi, Venezuela there is a reservoir on top of a town. When the water level dropped the church and was still standing plus the outlines of some of the other buildings. Here's a link to the story:

I think those types of countries are more likely to leave structures behind as it's very expensive to clear large amounts of land. China will probably have a few structures when they're done their big dam projects. Also, there's an old town in mexico near the falcon dam where the mexicans like to kill tourists on jet skis .. might wanna skip that one.
