I recently visited Kelvedon Hatch Nuclear bunker. I was amazed by the size of it - three storeys! and the mint
condition. Almost all of equipment is in working order and still there, the place is like nothing i have seen before.
It is run by local farmer as a cold war museum who got it at auction after cold war ended and the place was decomissioned.
If someone goes to Europe someday I can recommend this. www.secretnuclearbunker.com  There are some
useful links to other bunker sites.

Wow, nice! Got to check that one out.
We've been to Germany and found some millitary goodness, just no bunkers (short on time).
