The Hazard Powder works was the second largest gunpowder manufacturer in the U.S. for most of it's 80 or so year history.  It sits over several miles of the Scantic River in Connecticut, and since it was closed in 1916, theres only two buildings remainings, which I think was a generator house built around the turn of the century, and the old horse barn, which is used for public functions as well as being a private residence.  Theres many foundations, canals, pipes, dikes, channels, and walls all over the place there.  No interiors to search through really, but it's all in the middle of the woods, so you'll stumble upon these random features and it will be like finding gold.

Also interesting to note, more than 65 people died in explosions there over the years, so with all those violent deaths in one small area, one would think there could be some paranormal activity there.  One explosion was so large, that when around a million pounds of gunpowder exploded there at once around the end of the 19th century, the shockwave was felt 120 miles away in Great Barrington, MA.  They thought it was a thunderstorm.

thats some story sarge, sounds real interesting definetly worth checking out
