I'm new here.  I've been following the sale and destruction of Danvers State for some time now. I made a daytime trip just to check out the ground before demolition began.  I tried to be conspicous as possible, just to show no mal intent. It worked. I saw a security guard, he just drove by in that little white shitbox, smiled and waved at me.  I think it was a tuesday afternoon in Mid June this past year.  The more of the outside I saw and photographed the more eager I am to enter a Kirkbride building. I realize that if this is my intention, daytime is probally not the best time. I had every intention of returning to the site, but with the destructiong happening, I dont know what to think.  Anyways, I was looking for some info, on some safe  kirkbrides sites....ANYWHERE.  Very willing to travel, based near boston.  I am just looking to document these places before they are lost forever to condos/develpmont and urban sprawl.  Thanks
