Website changes, today 2-12-06

You know us Bunkers need to stay ahead of the game, right?

Well we're making some changes to the site since we're stuck inside with this snowy crap outside.

The site (since Oct 2005) has been using a Mambo Content Management System (CMS) which allows us to do all of these cool things.  Mambo has been open source (i.e. new and free) but has recently made changes to the community of developers that were supporting this move.  Couple this with some security SNAFU and we're out of there.  A bunch of developers from Mambo have defected over to this new technology called "Joomla!".  We're making the change to this now.  In fact, you may be reading this on the Joomla! platform.

Sorry, am I boring you?  I'm boring myself..   OK.  back on track:

What does this mean to you?  Freaking nothing.  In fact, you may not even know that anything even changed.  With the change however comes improved security and functionality.   So, keep your eye's open for some new features on the site.

As always, this community is NOT just "the bunker guys".  It's all of us.  Let us know what you like or don't like.  We'll try our best to make it the coolest, most relaxed spot for the explorer on the web.

well the password thing is ok but now when I sign in I get a white screen, have to re fresh.

MW, I sent you an email on resetting your password.  Did you get it?  Is this what you are referring to?   

I HIGHLY suggest that you clear out your cookies, cache and history.  Close your browser and try again.   I logged in as you to test your account and it worked fine from both M$ Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
