Hey Does anyone know how to get into the Ladd School without getting caught? I\\\'ve tried like 6 times... ;)
ive been to ladd last saturday night spent about 3 hours there outside watching the traffic and looking for the alleged ghosts got some cool night pics with glowing orbs the 1 thing i did not see the whole time i was there was the police i went back the day in the day more cool pics and no police keep in mind the phoenix house is open and is staffed 24/7 and i assume they have a telephone there lol i also went back last night and no police this is not to say they dont stop in now and again but the closet barracks is in north kingstown so if theey get no calls they prob dont patrol heavy they r.i.e.d.c has cleaned up some stuff there this week and put up some new plywood on the brick building below fogerty and from the back of fogerty the round building someone pulled off a piece of plywood off a ground floor window very easy to get in be safe because there is supposedly asbestous on the 4tth floor of fogerty i am currently tring to get permission for a night time visit so i dont get arrested so be careful and good luck

Oh, it's easy to spot, there are cars parked near it and it looks like it's been kept up, unlike all the rest of the buildings lol

The one in the back of the property is the one I'm referring to, maybe there are two occupied buildings now?  Exeter Job Corps is fairly close to it as well.

i just went to ladd last night finally for the first time, and we didn't have any trouble with cops or anyone.  we didn't have trouble getting in 2 of the buildings, but when we got to the fogarty building we couldn't find a way in anywhere, and didn't have anything to make a way in so we'll have to make a second trip.

so who knows how to get into the fogarty building?

i got in there on a sunday night in the snow and we drove in through the normal job corps entrance and just hid the car in the back of the riverfield building.  there were no cops and it was at like 8:00

I was there with a big group last night for about an hour and we circled most of the buildings and only found one possible entrance. One buildings towards the front (I think it's the front) had an open window that you could slip into the basement through but there's 2 rusty screws that you have to watch out for. We didn't go down cause it didn't seem the like best/safest way to get in. We parked relatively obviously and we even asked for directions for the people at the pizza house and there was no sign of police whatsoever. Anyway, I don't know the names of the buildings but which ones can you get in and how? We plan to explore it in the daylight.

went two times yesterday, went during the daytime to kinda scope everything out, and if questioned just say that i was taking a walk in the beautiful sunshine ( lol RIGHT ) neways, found plenty of potential ways in, forgerty however you spell it, all borded up, leaking like crazy too from all the rain a few nights ago, as well as everything else boarded up. EXCEPT the hospital building across the street. face the front of the building, concrete trench thing around the front, drop in and go to the right all the way to the end. boom open window, plywood removed, can drop in quick if someone comes.... so i snapped a picture...
now its hard to get into though cause the window is in two secions, you open one, the other rotates and closes, that and theres a 5 foot tall wall, and on the other side the floor is busted out about 2 feet deep and about 3-4 feet in diamete making it hard to just drop in or quickly try and get out.
So we check this all out during the day and plan a night return. we do, with another truck and park one at the job corps to guard, and the other driving around for patrol. we have problem with that window. next thing we know here comes our 2nd truck and what looks like a cop car behind it with a spotlight, FUCK! so we press against the building, they near and i hear a diesel motor. now im thinking wtf what cop has a diesel, then these side lights come on, its an ambulance! they must have gotten a call and been the closest thing in the area to respond, so we duck down, they pass and our friend pulls into the building in back thats occupied and parks, the ambulance goes around back, we sprint, jump in the back of the truck and lay down and drive down to the mobil down the road, where we got out and exchanged our view on what just happened. crazy crazy time, want to go in so bad though. i took many many many pictures and will probably upload them into my reg sometime this weekend. just wanted to share my experience with everyone, hopefully someone can use this open window to their advantage before this is too closed.

We didn't even try going across the street, we'd already been spotted by too many people.  I'm pissed we missed the chance at Fogarty 3 years ago, it was wide open back then.

went to ladd today middle of the day saw nobody as usual which is good but i found a way into the fogerty building actually 2 possible ways in 1 definite 1 probable but the probable way will take some balls cuz it will require going in threw a manhole cover the only problem i see with it is that its  a steam tunnel and at the building end theres either a boiler or not if the later is true you should be able to crawl right in i highly recommend nobody tries this way i am not saying the other way in because i want to go back and after i get in i will answer emails for members on it because it is nice and concealed it looks covered and secure but its not i will update after i go in next weekend

ok so ive been busy working trying to get my new apt finished, but it seems as though i move one thing and play ps2 and nothing gets done, but i did get the computer hooked up down here again, and as i said before, i had a lot of pics from my ladd visit, so here they are...... comment it up!

so theres my pictures! the guy/arm you see is my buddy martin driving, we took his truck up so we could go off the roads for some more pics, even though we got out and walked the whole time, my car or truck are just to much of a pain to take pics and worry about potholes and bumps and everything else ( therye both lowered ) but hope you liked my pics, and I have the next 5 days off, for a carshow im bringing my car to, but i dont plan on going back to ladd unless it stops friggin raining! then i will get in and snap some more photos for you guys.
megster- are those fresh pieces of plywood on forgerty ( sp ? ) the way in you were talking about?
comment it up guys!

Haha you were? Weird! This was the easiest way to get in cause it was all set up with an upside down trash can on the other side and everything :( .. Someone will most likely take that plywood off anyway.

please don't take any plywood down the state is up there working frequently during the day cleaning up the grounds taking down plywood will just make them tell the cops and they will start patrolling it again i found a way in with out taking any plywood down i will be going in for sure this week then the way in it is at ground level so no climbing will be needed just some stealth and after i go in this way i will be glad to take a small group back up or tell people where it is so they can go alone if they wish lets try and keep the cops outta here the young kids will be pulling plywood when school gets out in a month or so ,our window of opportunity for no cops will be closing soon

CarbonCavi, the picture with the fresh plywood that XxCieloxX reposted is where I saw a way in, but this was three years ago.  There was also another way in near the wall that says "GA".

And the last picture of your friend driving past the building that's not Fogarty is the building I got into back then.  The door was wide open on it (July 14, 2003).
