Can you guys recommend a good camera that won't break my wallet?
Also can I send some pictures in to IB, will they be posted on the main forum?
Or is that just strictly for admin?

any 2 megapixel or higher should be fine.  I have a Sony DSC P8... well its among the missing atm, but i do have one!

That sucks!
What happened?

Many of the pics on this site have been taken with a 1.2Mpix. Depends what your output and budget us I guess.

no clue

One possibility is that it could be on the grounds of Dever some where

My budget is cheap, will drag a friend along and probably use his camera.
I'll leave the the abandoned hospitals and the like to the rest of you all.

My ideas are small, but thought out.
Quite a few places in Rehoboth that I have in mind.
Lots of nooks and crannies in this town. Mostly historical sites.
Maybe a few orbs here and there.

A few abandoned houses in Easton that I have my eye on.

It's in the works!

Sounds like a plan.  We'd of course be interested in your work.

ON camera, keep en eye out on Slickdeals.net, they have some shocker-deals sometimes on gear.  Right now they have a good one:

This is Dakiel's camera.  It's a DSLR (digital single lens reflex) and takes good pics.  I'd consider this one for it's price, quality, and size.

$300 less than i paid............yeah thats a deal.
Bastards!
Don't worry, if you die....We'll make it.

You need to use caution.
When cameras are that cheap is usually means that they are imports not authorized for sale in the US. They usually don't come with manuals and they definitely don't have a factory warrantee.
Most of the larger photo houses will list two prices "USA" and "IMP."  "IMP" being the import.
You can save some money but you need to weigh the risk.
I have a lot of experience in manufacturing and spending that kind of money and not having a warrantee makes me nervous.

I showed overdose the slickdeals site, and he almost had a cow.
His camera that he paid almost 700.00 for from Best Buy was on there.
Was listed at 395.00!! :o

That is the camera that we took the Stone mansion pics of!

I have some ideas of what camera I want.
UNFORTUNATELY can't spend more that 75.00 at this time.

Oh santa............. :P

I know...  I want that damn Canon DSLR Rebel BADD!  The Nikon DSLR would do too though.  ;)

What'd think?

A) Nikon D70

OR

B) Canon EOS Rebel
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller...u=337122&is=REG

I'm dreaming right now... until I find a bag of money or work want to fork out a healthy bonus, it's not going to happen.  At least you and Dakiel have good cameras.

Don't get me wrong Nikon makes a fine camera. The biggest difference is Canon is designed for serious photographers and Nikon is designed for 8 year old little girls.

Seriously thought, it is an age old debate. When it comes right down to it you can't loose ether way. I personally prefer Canon.

Wonder how much that SONY one goes for.
The one on TV, where those women are taking pics of Steven Tyler of Aerosmith?
THAT'S THE ONE I WANT!
5 megapixels?
