Mystery Factory, Front Avenue, West Haven, CT

This is also a small place that is worth checking out if you are in New Haven county or passing through. It is an abandoned factory complex by the former landfill in West Haven. There are two buildings. One is a brick factory building with an attached cinder block warehouse. The other is a cinder block and wood frame building with numerous garage doors. The brick building consists of a  two-story section and a one-story section, both are in pretty bad shape. In the single story section, the floor has rotted through in spots and portions of the roof have fallen in. The cinder block warehouse and outbuilding are completely safe to explore. I wrote a blog post with photos about my two trips to this place: http://nassahegon.blogspot.com/2016/02/239-front-avenue-brownfield-west-haven.html
