Chernobyl Diaries
« on: February 02, 2013, 02:06:37 PM »
I saw this movie the other day.  It's a little predictable but the shots of the the abandoned city Pripyat are awesome.  Almost makes me think they actually filmed it there.   I especially like the bunker shots.   Road trip!

The movie reminds me that crazy chick Elena who toured the poisoned place on her motorcycle:

Yeah decent flick, I rented it last year.  It was filmed in Serbia and Hungary, but I'd like to know where exactly.  Either way you could shoot for a month straight on that set and not get bored.

Pripyat is open to the public now so why not just go there?

Yeah, I heard that too that it was a hoax.   It's one of those stories that I know it's probably not true but still cool enough to forget it was false.

Kind of like the Ted's Cave Story:

If you haven't read this one, make yourself comfortable and enjoy.
