Here's one from an abandoned warehouse that was hit with the Springfield Tornado, I love the cracks just inside the doorway, not sure if its from the tornado (which was pretty weak as it passed through Springfield) or if it was just from the building decaying.

and thats a killer shot,  I didn't get a chance to shoot any tornado damage. I made it out to Monson and Palmer and they were messed up but I had other reasons I was there haha and didn't shoot their town centers but I wish I did. They had some cool opportunities at the time... oh well.

Need A Decay In Ruins Photography Lesson State School

at chief- two flashlights, one inside the cage to the right pointed at the chair and then i held the other one from the stairwell at the cage. and my camera was set to a 10 second self timer. Manual: 22mm focal, ISO 200, f/9, 25 second exposure!

 I took about fifty 2 second exposures which I'm not wild about.  I did one 30 second exposure, but I must have flashed the light on it too much because it looked like ground zero of an atomic weapon detonation.  I did both with ISO 100.  I'm going back later this week and if you don't hear from me for a few days, I'm either still there shooting it or the building fell down on me and I'm going to need a rescue, haha

two second exposures aren't going to do you any good. you're going to need to be doing AT LEAST 20 seconds if not 25-30. Try light painting it if you only have one light on a 30 second exposure at f/9 at ISO 100, then try ISO 200. Fool around with the settings and how much light your using. I hate light painting so much, I only like natual light

Thanks dude! I'll def try the 30 sec exposures again then, I assumed you just walked in there and took it like a boss and walked out. I'm not leaving till I get it decent,  is it just because the lighting sucks so bad that 2 second exposures aren't that great?
