great pictures everyone!! thank you for sharing everyone!!! i love them all. Meg I haven't seen much from Holy Land these days and I never did make it out that way for exploring, I just drove through the area a couple hours ago on my home though. Is it  even still there?


I just got home about 20 mins ago. I left on friday afternoon.

We stayed down in Pennsylvania on Friday, Maryland on Saturday, and Pennsylvania again on Sunday. We did a former prestigious private school, two hospital/sanitariums, had a cookout at Centralia today, and also did two coal breakers. Pretty sure I have lyme disease and poison sumac and I rolled in tons of coal dust today it was great.

Here's a shot from less than 12 hours ago in Pennsylvania at a place I've wanted to see since before I even knew what this hobby was... A set will follow tomorrow somewhere on the site for thee coal breakers. they were cool as hell. this one beat me up and nearly killed me. The huge gash on my leg was nothing compared to almost falling through collapses and rots but damn.

Re: Holy Land  - Yes, still there, and I think it's even still for sale.  Haven't been this year but will probably go in the fall.

Sweet PA pics!  Just took a trip there a couple weeks ago but not too far in (Pike & Wayne Counties) and didn't have a chance to do any exploring unfortunately.  My 7D bit the dust early in the vacation too so that left us with my Rebel XS while we had another 7D overnighted to my grandparents.

That stinks about your camera... I'm down to one digital SLR and my digital infrared. I might save up and get a new DSLR, probably a Canon. I shoot with a Sony A580 and love it but the lenses and whatnot are SO expensive. I just feel the need to have two cameras... Luckily you had the extra one though!
