though im not a big fan of HDR, i have used it before for certain pictures and when it is used in a nice way it makes for a nice piece of art. its like saying abstract painted art isnt real art vs a portrait. its just another type of art some people will like

I agree that it can be used to enhance isolated sections of dark or light in a photograph.
A lot of artists (who could have been good photographers) go completely overboard and think it is some sort of...
Well, I just don't know what they think it is.. or why they think it looks so great.

I can spot a photograph that is tone-mapped even when it is a tiny thumbnail on my computer screen,
smaller than my real thumbnail.  That says a lot, actually.

Wouldn't advertising be the very definition of what your doing in this thread?  Just saying.

Sound cheesy.
It depends entirely on this forum's definition of the word 'advertisement'.
If they think I was posting to profit from a specified product, venue, or service,
then of course I was advertising.  But I don't see the product, venue, or service
you are "just saying" about.

Your new to this site, so what better way to introduce yourself to everyone by putting up a post trashing HDR photography while using homophobic language and gay slurs.  Not the best first impression to make.  Secondly you've mentioned this anti-HDR Facebook group twice now while saying that you don't advertise.  Those are the facts.

I disagree.  You sound like a strongly opinionated, critical miser who'd rather troll anything I have to say.
C'mon guy, you know better than that.

1)  They don't call this section 'The Sewer' for nothing.

2)  I don't know you.

3)  I don't do formal introductions on the internet. (apparently, those would also be walking billboards in         your eyes, so....)

4) Since you falsely make claims that I kept re-posting links to my Anti HDR group, maybe you should            somehow prove it.

5)  Your labeling me as a profiteer who comes here to advertise products, services, or other means for
my own personal gain is a lot worse than my using a meaningless sexual slur to denigrate HDR                    ineptitude and how it sucks the life out of better photography like a vampire.

6) I deleted my link to my not-for-profit 'Anti-HDR Club', just to brighten your day a bit.

7) You can use your cheap, generalized accusations and bickering over trivial details all you want,            applying words such as "homophobic", "anti-gay", "advertiser", etc. but you are preaching to the choir.

8) I'm not changing my opinion about HDR.  Ever.  And no, I also do not have to wear a rainbow patterned symbol on my threads to just to show I have friendliness with gay/ bisexual people.   I don't like rainbow patterns on my threads.

Annoying?  good.  i don't care. have a nice day.
Can't be any more annoying than HDR for HDR's sake.

And oh... "Friends don't let friends HDR"  That's the motto.  Follow it.

If you don't share my opinion, which I had every right to express in "The Sewer" then maybe
you should not be getting your britches in a tizzy over it in the first place!!

(P.S. I wasn't even talking to you. That dude's handle name is 'Chief')

All you have to do is check your posts and you can see plainly that you have edited most of them, I know what I read and lets get real, you don't have any friends or credibility here, nor do you seem to be gaining any.

"They don't call this the sewer for nothing"  No kidding?  I'm anxious to learn more about Insane Bunkers from you.

So your going to lecture us on HDR photography and your big UE adventure is Bootleggers?  Really?

I hide in the shadows and babble about old things.  I appear to most new members of IB.  I might beat you with my cane.

 And I will continue to edit...  Problem?

Troll on, you're only making an ass out of yourself at this point.  Nobody cares about who edits what
as long as it's done in good faith.  You have better things to do with your time than try to bicker with
me about how much you love your jacked-up, hyper HDR'ed "photography".
