I just finished perusing your site with great interest. 25 years ago, I was going to school in California near Watsonville. The school was built upon the former military base called Camp McQuade. It was one of the coast artillery bases through WWII and much of the former gun mounts, structures, etc. were still visible. Checking out what the military left behind was a great way to spend a few hours while I was going to school there. I am still very interested in these types of structures & sites and am glad to have found a site dedicated to this in New England.
