Rocky Point Park

In June 2011 Rocky Point was re-opened to the public as a park.  I finally managed to get up there last month and check it out.  It seems to be enjoying a lot of use, from bikers, joggers, and casual strollers.  The whole park is fenced off.  The trail goes to the beach and past the Shore Dining Hall.  It ends at the north end of the park at the abandoned village.  It's a nice walk, sadly all the goodies were off limits.  There's also a full-time cop there parked inside the fence.  He moved once while I was there, so getting in is out of the question.  The village did look pretty interesting.  It's more isolated from the park, you just have to watch out for people in the neighborhood right next to it.  Got a few pics here:
