Hard to believe this beautiful location is a hazardous EPA clean-up site from an old factory in my city. For years the factory discarded old chemicals into the wetlands behind it, and now that the building has been torn down, the effort to save the environment begins. You can find more on the factory in both its abandoned stages and demo stages here: http://abandoneddreams2010again.blogspot.com/2010/12/lab-clean-up.html

I took these photos last night around 3AM. Enoy.

it looks like a beautiful marshland. 2 bad it had 2 be ruined =[

i wonder tho how much is actually being cleaned up as apposed to the damage being done to clean it up if that makes sense

i get what ur saying. but its the government. if they screw it up, it was there already.

Nice place, cool shots.  I just wouldn't want to go swimming there.
Saving history one photo at a time.

i never saw this post Ademan... nice set!!!

Just dont eat the fish, let nature clean it up. The EPA is horrible. Millions are probably going to their buddies to run over the place and tell folks it's "clean", cuz the EPA says so. I still wouldn't eat the fish even after they get done with it.
