You guys have probably all been, but if you haven't it's definitely a site worth seeing.  It's called the Great Desert of RI. I believe it use to be an old gravel pit.

Here are some pictures from a little while back.

hey I've played paintball there!

hhhmmm seems like a kewl spot. ill have to take my jeep down there and tear up the sand

so i went to the location u described off rt 95. i found a spot that seems to match the photos u posted, but it didnt impress me. if u take exit 6 onto hopkins hill rd, there is a much bigger spot with alot more sand dunes

Yeah there are actually two "deserts".   We were at the larger one.   We also tried getting my friends truck in there, but they blocked off the entrances pretty good.

check out the old Chevron land in East providence.  That site could be more interesting.  It's just right off the bike path, its fun to explore during the day.

I'll try and find the pictures.

yeah ive passed this on the side of 95 before. My streetbike or cobalt ss wouldnt do good in there lol

u could cut the locks and swap then for your own. just dont get caught goin in or out or touch the lock with ur bare skin
