Been wanting to go here for a while now. Good timing lead me to 3 other people who I met up with the next day to check this place out. Two of the people in our group had already been several times.

Quite an exhilarating trip.

Due to me not doing much physical activity over the past 5 or so months, I got tired out pretty quick. I ended up either forgetting or not being motivated enough to take many pictures. These 6 were the only ones that I felt were worthwhile to finish editing.

1. The view from up here was amazing. The weather was cool and it was quiet. Very serene. A great place to just relax.

Did you see any security?  Last time I went I had three cars following me around and all I was doing was exterior shots from the road. LOL

I'm trying to find out if any of my friends have pictures from our trips up there back in September 1998.  We were up there almost every day, it seems, so there has to be someone out there who has pictures.

Is it worth checking out still? i got a couple weeks off and might do a little road trip from the live free or die state down to the casino state.

I've wanted to go here for so long, I figure I'll get to it in the next few months. How much security is there here?

They just put up a bunch of shiny new chain link fences around the buildings they are going to demolish.  Not sure when they start -but I know the contract has been awarded.  You may want to go soon!

They put up a fence on the Preston side but there are only plans to demolish 4 buildings at the moment: Kettle and 3 of the more modern buildings.  After those are gone, the other buildings will be evaluated to see which ones can be salvaged.

why would they take down the newer buildings??! those are the buildings that are in the best shape. TRUST ME. Although Kettles last floor is ready to cave into itself. If anyones used the roof access in the center of the front of the building theyve seen it and know what im talking about. AWL building needs to be torn down.
