It's about fucking time! Exploring eastern CT

For the first time since December 2004, Zack and I went exploring and actually found something worth mentioning (haha).

There's some odd collection of small buildings in Sterling that I've semi-checked out at night--it's on a back road with no other houses on it and all these little buildings are together.  Not only is it kind of hard to find unless you know where to look but no one I know seems to know what it is. Someone said it's a "priest camp" (what the hell is that supposed to mean?  haha), other people call it "the warehouses"...but these buildings aren't big enough to be considered warehouses.  It almost seems summer camp huts, but there's only four or five of them (maybe more, I went at night--you can see that many from the road).

ANYWAY, This is exactly what Zack and I checked out.  We found at least three buildings and five oil tanks with roofs that were large enough to walk in, and the site is "Closed to the public (DEP)" according to a sign we saw.  I'd like to go back during the day to get better pictures, but there's really not much there.

See my album "Gallup Homestead Mystery Buildings" in the Storage Bunker!
I hide in the shadows and babble about old things.  I appear to most new members of IB.  I might beat you with my cane.
