Well theres an old air hanger/small runway in stonington CT at the connection of main street and route 1 in stonington. My fat ass is trying to loose weight and decided to go for a bike trip, saw this place across the marsh then found a nice driveway that lead right up to it. rode up there to find 3 sets of gates leading up to the place. the outside torn from the building, and fresh plywood on all windows, and large beams holding the front wall up, fresh piles of dirt/rock outback. Very easily accessible as i will probably get pictures tomorrow. also other roads off of it. Only took one of the three wich led to an abandoned house foundation.
Also on the way up found a door that goes underground to what seems to be a tunnel. Couldnt believe all this in the town ive grown up in for the past 20 years of my life. Hopefully pictures tomorrow, anyone in the area interested in coming along?

i will get back to this sometime. not sure when. i was in the ER two nights ago and am making a slow recovery. as soon as i am well again i will return. hopefully not too much will change.
