haha odd, i've met a couple of really good people here. very helpful and informative people actually. and no, not everyone here breaks into places. I dont ever forcefully enter and I do occasionally get permission to visit sites. One of the great things about exploring is being inside of a place you're not supposed to be in. Plus, I'd never want to be on TV and exploit this hobby anymore than it already has been. But have fun in whatever you do, and best of luck to you man!
**edit;;;; oh wait, you were that RI paranormal person (i looked at your last few posts). This isn't a ghost hunting site. Separate hobby... but I do respect what you do, I used to be an investigator myself. I just hated how most groups actually listed and and exploited some not well known places making them even more trafficked and vandalized which led to even more security. Which makes it harder for explorers to be able to go in and take a few pictures and explore the place. Oh well, it is what it is...

Yo ghost quest don't let the door hit you in the ass in on the way out.  By the way- you, your free cable access show, your partner, your car, your grammar, and your youtube channel all suck! Hahahahahaha

AND as a side note you idiots videotaped yourselves in Ladd(noone gets permission to go in there) and then posted it to youtube, stupid.  No bullshit either, but if anyone watches you two illiterate hicks trying to find ghosts then they must be close inbred family, hahaha

Haha.  Man, that guy is pissed.

I think this site has some helpful people on it.  What ticked that guy off?

Should we go and troll on his forum?  WTF...

Haha, I did.

He sent me a PM the other day asking me where "That Belchertown location" is and how far it is from RI. He wanted to know security details and entrances. I told him  "Google it. It wont be hard to find. Do some legwork or you'll never get anywhere in this hobby".

If you can't figure out how to find Belchertown, but you can find your way to a ue site to ask someone, you dont deserve to know.

I didnt mean to make him butthurt, but seeing he's a ghost hunter now, I don't really give a shit.

You're just a jackass Ademan! You should have gently held his hand on a tour of any location he wanted to see but was too stupid and  lazy to find himself. Never saw his show, but it sounds like he expected to come on here and have folks bow down or something? I'm no big fan of the "t0p secret l0cationz" crap, but if you have a location in mind then google it before you go asking folks where it is.

I like to keep shit secret.  That said, this guy wasn't even googling anything before asking to know where everything is.  I dunno about any of you, but when I'm looking for locations I put hours into it if I have to.

So if I find it and it wasn't easy, I keep shit secret so I can trade my secret places for your secret places.

And...that sounds dirty.  Carry on!

I knew a kid in high school who had one that was bright orange with wood paneling, I used to see it for years even after school but I don't know what happened to it. LOL  It's even in the yearbook.

95% of the time, I'll give location info away, but this dude more than obviously didn't try. He emailed me asking where Belchertown was. C'mon now. Finding out he was a ghost hunter afterwards just made me NOT feel at all bad for not helping him.

Not defending the guy, but sometimes when places have nicknames it's kind of difficult to figure it out if you're not from the area.  I mean, with a name like Belchertown at first I didn't even think it was real LOL

How did it get that name?  Not very attractive is it. hahaha

(I admit, I don't really know where it is besides some general idea, but I will by the time I get up there!)

Most of the state hospitals are easy to find if you spend 5 minutes looking. Go to topozone or some site, find the town and look for a building marked 'state hospital'. Looking for 'state rd', 'hospital rd', etc., can also quickly lead to the exact location. Just for any newbies like this guy who don't wanna get flamed for not even looking before they ask!

@Megs, I don't mean locations you find yourself after a few hours of work, I just mean the places like most state hospitals that are the hangout spots for every high schooler in town and have 235,345 pictures online already. They're not 'secret' and giving them some stupid name to make yourself feel like a ninja is geeky. Put up the pictures and make it easy for folks who live in town, worked there or were patients to actually find and apreciate them. They'll thank you for it.

It doesn't bother me that the hick didn't spend any time looking and asked,  its just out of principle to tell him whats up because he thinks that hes Zak Bagans or Bear Grylls and is therefore entitled.

Excellent advice.

I know, personally, I only use pseudonyms for locations I don't want getting totally blown up by scrappers, vandals, and cops. Not everybody's trying to be a ninja.

Truer words were never spoken.  Though with Ladd, if you're not from the area, that's a bitch to find. LOL  Or at least it was when I started looking for it--I actually had an aerial photo I found somewhere online and a book of RI maps, and I matched up aerial photos to aerial photos (and at the time, they were all that black & white terraserver shit and no google earth!)  Little did I know.... hahaha

Yes, on my own website I use nicknames for places that aren't well known and still standing. Once they're gone, I put their exact former location.

Haven't been to Ladd, but isn't that the one with the big round building? I've got it on my bingmaps. Alot of times its easy to find places if you just zoom in on big old brick buildings in some small town then look up the street name its on. Thats how I found Zombaranno or however you spell it.
