Holy shit. Do you all remember the ads for the Enchanted Forest amusement park up in Hope Valley? Apparently it's been closed for a while, but everything (including bumpercars!) is still there. My friend's going up this weekend to czech it out, I'll try to get some pics off of her.

lol I used to go to Enchanted Forest when I was a kid. Don't remember the last time I went when it was open, probably 1991 or 1992.
I visited it back in 2006, and it was totally awesome. Don't know what it would be like now though. Apparently it closed in 2004.
I went there a few years back, got a lot of pictures and whatnot. then they removed all the rides and sold them at an auction. the pictures are on my other compuer, used to go here when i was a kid though. good times.
You reckon it;s still worth a shot? Might go next friday.
In 4 years a bit could be missing, but besides buildings there wasn't a whole heck of a lot left anyway. Hope those bumper cars are still there and if they are I might make a venture out myself once the snow is gone.

I believe there was a fence going up or went up. not entirely sure on that. when i get my car back from the shop with my new upgraded clutch/upgraded axles/and new shorty header ill go check it out as its 20 minutes from my house and a good excuse to get past the 500 mile break in period on the car so i can start romping on her :)
went to this place a few weeks ago.....very demoed. for the most part. there was an old car ride track and a few buildings. which were boarded up. very overgrown now.
yeah i think anything worth seeing there is past its prime. i wonder if the pirate ship still stands? lol
I've been there as a kid too. Makes me feel old now lol
Yup...ship is still standing...at least it was a couple months ago..crazy overgrown now though and the entrance to the parking lot is blocked off

Took the nephews and my 4 year old there last week to check it out. some of the buildings are is geed shape. the police did come looking for us and asked us to leave nicely. I think because I had kids with me. He warned me that people are living down there and are drug users. I did get some pics. the ship is in bad shape no floor left. Bumper cars are now gone.
such a shame.
Damn! I checked this place out in '09, looks like the last 5 years haven't been too good to it. The cars were all there in the woods and we were able to climb onto the ship, the wood was really spongy and rotted though.
I went by here last week, and as said above, the last 5 years have been hell on this place. I have a picture of me on one of the statued animals as a kid. Ill have to post it up
Well that's too bad. I last went in 2006, never made it back. Definitely have a couple pictures from 1990 but not enough.
