I'm fairly sure the launcher area was flooded/filled in in the late 90's there used to be three bulkheads and the missle doors, now its a dirt area. http://ed-thelen.org/loc-r.html#PR-58l (http://ed-thelen.org/loc-r.html#PR-58l) best site for NIKE

There are several other Nike Missile Sites in RI.  Except no one ever talks about the one in coventry.  Very eerie place.  They turned it into a baseball field and an unfinished skatepark. AND there are bordered up buildings there. hmm. Has been shut down for a few years now.  I went there back in March and it is very apparent that it use to be a military base.  Barbed wire fence, guard stations, a silo top in the woods.  I'm not sure how busy the place gets in the summer though.

your talking about the baseball field on flat river road theres nothing left lol, nothing eerie about it just a ball field now. the army base is now home to the national guard.

yeah hazard, but you must have seen those bordered up buildings at the entrance. and the office building/garage.  We also checked out the surrounding woods.  Tons of weird shit around there too.
