Title: UE Weather Conditions
Post by: Chief on August 24, 2010, 01:59:15 PM
Just a quick question for you guys and gals..... do you take weather conditions into account when heading out?  Say if there is a strong security presence, would you possibly hold out until a rainy night to help avoid detection?  Thanks!

In regards to security, no.  For them, the weather really doesn't matter because they're paid to be there.   Goody goodies are the ones affected by the weather and they can be bigger pains in the asses than security.

Good point, at this particular locale I know security isn't allowed to enter any of the buildings.  I just figured if it was a really wet and windy night they would be less likely to do a thorough job patrolling the grounds.  I'm thinking if they stay in their little securitymobile it'll be no problem.

I only care about snow, thinking about all those dumbass bank robbers who left tracks to their car or snowmobile or whatever.

LEAVE NO TRACKS

I take weather conditions into account as well as time and day of week.
For instance, Norwich State Hospital
Id much rather go in the middle of the week - Kiddies and grownups are at work the day before and the day after for the most part
Time - I like to get their just before the sun gets up, get in under dawn or just before dawn, camp out for a half hour till the sun comes up and make my way thru in daylight and leave at dusk under night fall again
Rain - Will have windows in the vehicles up so they wont hear you, might fogg up the windows also dimming visibility
Fogg - same applies
Snow - leaves tracks I have gone but its scetchy.
Sun - ideal time for you but also for security and everyone else

just my .02

yes that too. the person working is either old and has no family and took the day so the younger guys could spend it with their family, or the guy working security got stuck with it and has his mind wondering back home. or theirs less numbers in general on. agreed holidays are great to explore
