Yeah Small world.
I had no idea these hospitals dated back so far.
What kind of treatment was given in the 1800's? (beatings to the head and sessions of "knock it off nut-job!")

great link andrew ive been there my self many of times.  i looked up  kirkbrides treatment methods and how he used a tier system to build the state hospitals. well at least the idea behind the designs. thats why taunton westboro,danvers,and worcester are the best buildings to explore the beutiful design makes them attractive, its to bad they couldnt restore a kirkbride to its original state, it would be a site to behold, the renovations would be massive and expensive.

There many historical organizations with strong pull but most of the time they cannot compete with big money and profit.
