A friend of mine showed me a site that is competing with Google Maps, and I'll have to say they have Google beat! The aerial photos aren't spectacular (average rural and better in the cities), but there's a nifty feature that is simply awesome.
It's called the "Bird's Eye View" option. If you click it, the map will go to a literal bird's eye view of the area. It's at an angle, so you can see the sides of buildings. The clarity is unmatched. You can see all 4 sides of a building, and as far as I could tell, it works anywhere in RI. No place seemed to be hidden. Check it out and let me know what you think!

shortly. I took a screenshot of it the moment I saw it so I have it, but if you were to go looking for it you will only find it after the fire dept. put the fire out, with all the trucks there. in the screenshot I have it's on fire with a truck driving up. Crazy shit!
