me and my girl made a "adventure" down TSH. Made is past the fence. We circled the building taking exterior pictures but not even 45mins into the trip we noticed a renta cop reading his newspaper near the entrance. So come to find out we parked in a retarded area...first mistake. and we wanted to have enough time to make our way over to JT so we didnt wait it out. We just bounced which meant driving right by the piggy. sounds sketchy enough doesn't it? lol the pig waved us over we where in no mood for a car chase so we went along. He just asked why we where there even though he made his own conclusions. He ended up pocketing my camara basterds lucky is was just my disposable. lol i laugh about it now but i tell you what my heart was racing then

I wouldn't park near Taunton State.  I would park somewhere near Trucchi's and walk from there.  I've cut through the grounds on foot numerous times with no problems, never spoke with security or were harassed by them in any fashion.  I also never spent any time trying to get into any of the buildings or any of the deeper areas, so it would definitely be different.  My uncle works there, so I could ask him, but he probably wouldn't be interested in contributing to our delinquency.

Where are you hosting your galleries these days?  How about Militarynut?  Megster?  I miss those pics.  I'm hoping you all didn't lose everything in the big server crash.  That was some great shit you had up.

I didn't lose my pics but now they're not online.  If the galleries ever do come back I'll re-upload all of mine here in a heartbeat (hint hint) lol

new to the site...I am also part of the uer.ca, but feel like asking here would be a little easier than giving my left nut.

I have scouted TSH the other weekend adn was looking for an acess point.  Is there only one point in ......... or is there another?  If this is inappropiate for the forum please feel free to pm me.  I am looking to make a trip out there this coming weekend, 5/16 or 5/17.  If anyone would be interested in tagging along, that would also be a bonus, as I have never been inside.

I am from the RI area, about 40 min away from said location.

recently made a trip to the area of the school in question. i work in the industrial park and pass by the area frequently. as it sits, the school is still owned by the state, hence the private security force of 10. the school sits on 96 acres of land with at least 25 abandoned building. it is possible to infiltrate but diffculy by day. night time is easier, but flashlights are touch and go. if you do go in, bring only what you need, in light of arsons in the past, trespassers are not welcomed with the old "why dont u get outa here before i  have to call the police".

Well, this thread is actually about the now demolished Taunton State Hospital (the last Kirkbride asylum in MA). But the state school/developmental center is apparently wicked wicked wicked easy. I've only walked around the grounds but no one came looking for me or anything. I've also heard security isn't that bad there as long as you aren't torching the place or clearly up to no good.

If your talking about Dever which I believe you are, keep the flashlights to a minimum if your anywhere in there, but once your in the tunnels you could walk around with a flare and it wouldn't make a difference.  BTW they have 10 people on security there?  Thats hard to believe, unless they each work like 2 hours per day.

exactly i can never imagine a town agreeing to pay the salary of 10 security guards making probably 10 bucks an hour for an abandond place

I don't know to much about Dever, but I know they do NOT have 10 guards. not at all, ever.

He forgot to mention they are robot guards, well worth the investment since they don't get paid by the hour. They can "see" your flashlight even in the tunnels and disable you with their laser eyes. Every entrance transmits to the nearest robot guard, so there is no hope at entry. They are all the same model, so it might seem like there are 10, but there's really 357 of them.

They also can fly and like Slayer.
