Driving down 102 from rt 4 heading towards wickforn behind McKay's furniture there is an old cave of something Not sure what it is but as you drive by look into the back and you can see it its built into the hill
I've seen it too. Never got a chance to go check it out.
and if you go past mckays there is a pizza place take that right after the pizza place there is a prety cool small mill with waterfall and all
Behind that mill is the old wickford station. The train tracks are now a bike path but you can still find remants of the train station.
.
so did you stop by Every time I drive by I never have a cam to take pics
Is this in wickforn?
The more enigmatic stone chambers were built without cement, though it was often added later to reinforce the chambers by more recent owners.
I was living about four minutes from that! I've explored the train tracks but never saw that. I'll have to look into it.
So, not even intending to, I drove by it a few days ago! Not sure how I could have missed it lol. Then I almost hit a bunch of deer. In the middle of the afternoon on a busy road...
huh. I'll have to walk there after school. has anyone been in the thing by McKays?
and check out the nursing home across from the pizza place. The side door's open!
