Going to be torn down real soon. They have a truck with a backho on its trailer sitting out front. I saw it this morning. I'll walk down there tomorrow afternoon after work and take a picture of the outside with the truck and all.
Thanks for the news. Another relic bites the dust.
Truck and backho were gone when I went by this morning... wonder what's going on over there...
Missed opportunity for a picture of both building and destroyer...
I don't know, I've seen things parked there that had nothing to do with tearing the place down.
I asked my grandfather about the demolition and he doesn't know anything about it (he knows the owner's nephew). He said the owner has been in a convalescent home for five years.
So just in case, I went this morning for the first time and god, it was worth it. Beautiful pics, good hiding parking spot for the car, easy access, no one bothered us at all, and we spent about 20 minutes there.

It also helps that the place is in the middle of blank wooded areas. That's the good part about a place with limited development...
Actually, the hardest part was the house across the street. We had to be quick so they wouldn't see us.
Did anyone happen to go here on the 14th (Sunday)?
Haha... just asking because I saw a green truck parked out front WAY out in the open...
Nope, last time I was that obvious, the cops showed up. lol
Broad Brook Dairy was demolished this year (2009) with demo beginning in April and finishing in October/November, for anyone who cares. I took some pics in April. http://twitpic.com/3uuak
From 2003.
