Cool things you wish you could have taken with you

On the first floor of a hospital I've been to a few times has a really cool metal door on the first floor with the hospitals insignia on it  I'd have loved to have ripped it off but to get it out of there I would have had to smash it through a window and then explain it to my gf during the getaway what I had, hahaha.

lol if they ever do tear it down go ask for it.  I'm totally serious.  This is how people get pieces of giant old retail signs and stuff.  

It also sometimes works with vending machine guys.  Like one time I was passing the snapple machine in high school and the guy was there restocking it, and I jokingly said "hey give me one!" and he threw one at me.    Still it never hurts to ask!  

I didn't win that NSH postcard.  Went a little too high for me (not really but $23 for one postcard is a bit much for me now that I know they're out there.  If I wait, I'll find it cheap somewhere.)

I wish I ganked a piece of a sign from Rocky Point or a blue bumper car from Enchanted Forest.  

PS: I split this topic from the other one about stuff you own or collected because this topic about stuff you saw or couldn't take with you could get much bigger.

I make sure to get an object every place I go to. Got NSH, Danvers, Ladd, Seaside etc....

lol without realizing it I mentioned "ohh if i was posting about things i wish i had taken  there'd be a more extensive list"  but chiefs got it under control it seems lol.
I wish i'd of gotten one of those iron lungs at lsh. along with the this plaque at the ladd skool. this mill in the portsmouth glen has a very nice weather vane although 75+year old slate roofs aren't my cup of tea to be climbing on. i've yet to see one but i'd cream myself if/when i find an old straight jacket.

Hahaha hey you have to draw the line somewhere right?   IB if I ever saw anyone pushing a red or green iron lung down the street that would just about be the best thing I've ever seen!
