Last oct. my uncle and i ventured off into exter.
He told me a story about a couple who lived is this old house and both were in there 80's or somethin. Both suposedly had bad arthrightis? and one day the old man hung himself on the tree in the front yard. A few weeks later they found his wife hung on the same tree.
We drove out to this place, the road ended with some rocks and there was a old trail there. We went out to the other end and it was someones drive-way.
Any info on this?
Never heard of it!
Hmm...
For some reason this sounds vaguely familiar to me. I think it's in Exeter and not Coventry.
I'll ask around and see what I can find out.
the other day i had been talking with a few kids that have been there but im not completely up to date with it so once i talk to them i might be able to get something about it..give me a couple..:)
Let us know how you make out and what you find out.
Spacemonkey--does this sound familiar to you?
This wouldn't happen to be near the lake near Benny's in Coventry?
The road is actualy off the new london trpk. a little ways down from rt.102
where off of new london turnpike had it been? i got into an accident on that road.. is it between 102 and where it turns into hopkins hill.. or is it between 102 and the other end?
Sounds like Hell's Gates maybe?
I was thinking Hell's gate too.. which is Exeter, on the same road as "Vampire's Grave"
Nastynate, is this the place you're talking about? It's in West Greenwich (that forgotten black hole between Coventry/Exeter lol) I don't know if the pic will show up on this post b/c of firefox issues but it should show up in IE.
