Title: Exploring tonight! join in
Post by: beatkeeper1 on September 29, 2010, 04:47:38 PM
Hell's (non existant) Gates, poke around a bit take some photographs near the graves looking for orbs and whatnot and try to locate the cabin from the 50's maybe walk some more of the trails.  Me and my buddy are going message me if you want to join in.

Yea the gates are no mas.  Found the cabin, cemetary, and remnants of house.  Nothing remains of the house except for the portion of the foundation with the chimney which now collects stagnent water.  Then went to the graves and snapped some pictures (orbs?).  Pictures to come as soon as I get a replacement cord for my camera.  Also cabin had a sign on the door to stay out for your safety.  Nothing else of interest except a couple faint coyote howls and a ton of Owl calls.

So where's the cabin in relation to the house?  I must've gone there like 20 times and never saw it, and you found it at night. lol

Thanks for the grave information by the way, I shined that spotlight in that direction and it bounced of the sign in the middle of it and it was a dead (no pun intended) giveaway.  But the cabin isn't in the opening with house remains, it's in the first opening before you walk over the little waterfall.  If you kept going in a straight line off the street it would be all the way in the back about 20 yards into the woods.  I'll grab the long and lat off google earth in a minute.

Hi Eric, did you think it was cool or not worth checking out?  Also did you snag any EVP's?

Hey!  Wish I had the equipment to record evp's lol, now that I now have enough flashlights to simulate the sun maybe I'll invest in some recording equipment and digital thermometer.  Thermal would be interesting but they are insane money!  In review of whether it's worth it or not, for beginners and outdoors admirers yes, for experienced explorers looking to be the first person to discover something no.  The walk was a piece of cake, wildlife was abundant (11pm Coyote howls, that reminds me to go buy bear mace), and some remnants of the property did remain.

Ok cool man good to know.  I got a pretty good voice recorder from target for like 50 bucks a year ago and its the real deal.  I got night vision a few years ago and I also was shocked how much thermal imaging equipment is, maybe if I hit the lottery!

I got a place to check out this week but I'd rather not say because cops do check these sites from time to time.
